  1. 26 years but it seems like yesterday Sam well forever be remembered by all. You did a wonderful job of retelling her story. God bless

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words. Samantha’s story, and the legacy that is preserved every day by her mom and the ppl of Fleur De Lys should never leave us.

  2. When you think of a story, you usually always think of a happy ending. As much as I was looking forward to reading this story, I knew there was no happy ending. An innocent child’s life was taken away and there is no coming back from that tragedy. My heart goes out to Millie and her family. To end this story with Sam’s young, sweet, and beautiful angel’s voice is so heartbreaking as she should still be singing today! 💔 A beautiful little girl gone too soon. 😢 🙏

    1. You are absolutely right. The happy ending is not in order. Instead, we try to understand, but that too does not happen. The best we can do is reflect on the joy Sam brought to others; that in itself is a testament to all she was.

  3. What a beautiful voice Sam had! It makes me sad that she didn’t get the chance to grow into a woman and experience all that life had to offer her.

I am truly sorry Millie that you had such a short time with her.
    Sending you love and strength.
